Johanna Schwab, MSW, ACSW, LCSW, trained and worked with Virginia Satir for over twenty-five years, collecting the contents of this book along the way. A founding member of the Avanta Network, she has been in private practice in Los Angeles since 1970 and is active as a consultant and lecturer. She is also presently an adjunct clinical associate professor at the University of Southern California Graduate School of Social Work.
